Enter your average monthly bill, build your plant — inverter, panels, batteries — and see the shape of the investment — indicative cost, year-one saving, payback, ten-year benefit. No sign-up, no phone call, no salesman leaning over your shoulder.

These are estimates, not a quote. Pricing is indicative and includes installation and peripherals; real numbers depend on your roof, tariff structure, usage pattern and site — which is exactly what the free assessment pins down. We assume the figure you enter is energy spend only — fixed charges, network fees and levies on your bill don't go away with solar, so exclude them. (kWp = the array's peak output in kilowatts.) We design systems for a 15-year life, so the 15-year figure conservatively sets aside the full cost of replacing the batteries and inverter once within that window, at today's prices — when, or whether, that's needed depends on how hard your system cycles. It also assumes 0.5% panel output degradation per year. Commercial and high-voltage systems are engineered case by case — talk to us.
You don't have to part with the capital. Domestic systems can be financed through Nedbank — standalone solar asset finance over terms up to 96 months, or through your home loan, so the instalment competes directly with the electricity saving. Commercial systems can go onto Investec's Recharge platform: solar as a fixed monthly rental instead of capex. Both subject to credit approval — we include the options in your proposal.
