Privacy notice

How Solaire Power Systems handles the personal information you give us. Last updated August 2026.

What we collect. When you use our enquiry or assessment forms we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, town or suburb, details about your property and electricity usage, and — if you attach them — copies of your electricity bill and photos of your distribution board and roof.

Why we collect it. For one purpose: to assess, size and quote a solar installation for you, and to contact you about that assessment. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own use.

How it's processed and stored. Form submissions are received through our website host (Netlify) and delivered to our email. If you proceed to a proposal, your information lives in our quoting records. If you apply for finance, the relevant details go to the finance provider you choose (for example Nedbank or Investec) with your knowledge.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that don't proceed are deleted within a reasonable period. Records of installed systems are kept for the life of our relationship with you, including warranty and compliance obligations.

Your rights. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@solairesa.co.za or call 011 763 1130.
